Wonderfall

You scatter marigold raindrops
that splash in elephant puddles.
Rainbows seep from the stars
and guide the crow in flight.

Skies open wide in the brook valley
where peacocks sleep peacefully.
Maple syrup drips from apple trees
with roots that hold me tight.
