Mike would be proud- I've become a total mac guy. iEverything. I don't know how it happened, one device just lead to another, capped off a few weeks ago by the latest iToy, in white of course.
I think this is a quality we all admire, as attested to by its recurrence in this blog- his appreciation of fine things and the ideas behind them, be they small or far off- the picture of a chateau nestled in some northern forest of France; a fresh brew; the search for Da Vinci in Eithoven.
Mike really liked Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man (pictured above) and sometimes used it in his talks....more on favourite artists later....
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh at Mike as an 'Early iAdapter'. In many areas, he was the guys who caught on to a trend 10 years late! One example was Birkenstock sandles. By the time he got a pair in grad school, they were more classic than trendy. Mike was an early Mac guy because he was born into Mac-land, thanks to his dad, and had none other. The Naults may even still have their Mac graveyard, featuring almost every Mac produced right down to the first Apples. Mike most certainly sticks with a good thing-- always! Amer, he would LOVE your Mac-conversion.
