Halloween Party 2001 (with Danielle Froese and Sarah)
With Halloween just recently passed, and having seen several small superheroes standing on our doorstep saying 'trick or treat', I couldn't help but be reminded of Mike. Of course, his childhood (and adulthood) love of superheroes is well-known and well-documented in this blog.
Any superhero worth his salt would have:
- large pipes (check)
- a kickass costume (check, see above!)
- ability to help others in need at a moment's notice (check, many late hours spent on-call)
- ability to blend in to surroundings/people when not in superhero mode (check, when "getting low" with brown sweater & tuque, Mike could be mistaken for part of the couch)
Like all of you, I remember and miss Superhero Mike.
