Strong Mike

Sarah's blog has pieced together the Mike puzzle for me.
We are all puzzles;known in bits and pieces and differently, by all who meet and 'know' us. As multi-dimensional as we all are, we each have those pieces of our puzzle that are defining.
Sarah's blog has allowed us to see the various perspectives and experiences we have of Mike. Some of those things that resonate with me are both the ongoing themes along with the shifts that took place in Mike's life, at least as I have come to understand.
I learned of his notable childhood focus; a life theme . His Grade 'A' large crying as a boy that morphed into strength and stoicism. His strong sense of self and preferences being modified by thoughtful self critique. A lifelong artist, avid horseman turned rabid football jock-couch potatoe transfigured to skilled Cardiologist. A no- life laugher changed by serious circumstances.Importance of family and friends throughout. The love of strong gentle women from cradle to grave, giving him roots and energy.
Ultimately it is Mike's strength that stays with me.

Thank you Sarah for this Blog.
It is a testament to your love.
We are indebted to you.
