Having Mike die at such a young age has started me thinking about death, dying and the afterlife. Catherine asked me the other day if I thought there was life after death. Having been raised Catholic I had a traditional view of the after life. On reflection, I really think the afterlife is what we have left behind. What we loved, the memories, the spirit, the joy and the life we lived – that is what I believe is the afterlife. Mike has left a beautiful legacy in Sarah, Lucas and Emily.
